Shalat dhuha hanya dua rakaat, qiyamullail (tahajud) juga hanya dua rakaat, itu pun sambil terkantuk-kantuk. Shalat lima waktu? Sudah jarang di masjid, memilih ayatnya juga yang pendek-pendek agar lekas selesai. Tanpa doa, dan segala macam puji untuk Allah, terlipatlah sajadah yang belum lama tergelar itu. Lupa pula dengan shalat rawatib sebelum maupun sesudah shalat wajib. Satu lagi, semua di atas itu belum termasuk catatan: "kalau tidak terlambat" atau "asal tidak bangun kesiangan". Dengan shalat model begini, apa pantas mengaku ahli ibadah?

Shalat Adalah Tiang Agama


Shalat adalah salah satu bentuk ibadah wajib dari agama Islam. Ada hadits yang menyebutkan bahwa shalat adalah tiang agama, dari hadits tersebut kita bisa mengetahui bahwa agar agama kita bisa berdiri dengan pondasinya maka kita harus melaksanakan shalat. Shalat merupakan rukun islam yang ke-2 setelah syahadat, dan shalat itu adalah amalah yang paling pertama dihisab ketika di akhirat nanti. Apabila shalat ditinggalkan maka akan mendapat dosa.
